Transitioning from a piston engine trainer cockpit to a modern, jet engined multi-crew transport aircraft like B-737 can be very challenging, especially in the initial phases of training.  Our pre-type training module is designed to prepare students to meet the demands of Type rating training and industry standards expected from a competent airline pilot. The salient features of GATI’s  Pre-Type Training Module are :-

  • 60 hours of Theory Classes spread over 21 working days
  • Holistic training covering technical knowledge, Operations Manual I & II, QRH, Flt Crew Training Manual (FCTM), Pre-flight briefings for Sim exercises and introduction to Multi-Crew coordination (MCC).  
  • Access to Comprehensive Computer Based Training Modules designed by C PaT Global, USA for the duration of the course
  • Classes conducted by qualified B-737 examiner with more than 20000 hours experience on type.

Add Ons

  • Instrument Flying refresher exercises on ALSIM AL250 simulator (optional with additional payment)
  • Refresher training including Line Oriented Briefing and interview preparation after completion of TR (optional with additional payment)
